Abhyasa – A group/personal mentoring program

To get established into a daily Sadhana and understand the gross body and breath by connecting the body with the breath in various practices that facilitate overall awareness.

Mahila – Yoga for women

Asana and Pranayama choices women make daily should never be done in the spirt of competition. Women’s overall health is based on the nature of the monthly cycle. Hence, for women, it is very important to develop awareness of their own body and its responses to the different phases of monthly cycle by listening to their bodies before menstruation, during and after ovulation, and organise the yoga practice based on that. This awareness makes them gradually re-establish link with the nature’s cycle. This will improve reproductive health and a smooth transition into menopause. At “Gyan” we help women practice right asanas at the right time and thereby get aligned with forces of nature and experience ultimate health.

Yauvana – Yoga for Teenage

The hormonal disturbances that accompany puberty result in disrupted sleep, mood and behavioural changes in both young girls and boys. These changes vary widely from one person to another. Appropriate practices help the teenagers be away from distractions, channelize the gift of abundant energy positively, build physical and mental strength, and gain confidence and mental clarity to face the challenges of life. For girls, it also helps them understand the power of feminine energy, build routines around the periods, and prevent any hormonal imbalances associated with menstruation.

Ananda – Yoga for Children

“Joy through Asanas” – Teaching Children is about making the classes simple and offering them with love and care by engaging them in a fun-filled manner. The sessions help them to improve focus and attention, improve flexibility, strengthen muscles, reduce nervousness and distractions.

Smrti – A School Mindfulness Program

Reducing anxiety and increasing coping skills in children by facilitating them to not only move, breathe, but pause and pay attention to the present moment without judging the moment.

Anusaasanam – Yoga at workplace

With increasing demands in the work place, working long hours, positioning the body in all possible strange ways, and skipping meals, it is essential to wake up before these habits begin to take a toll on the health and wellbeing of the individual in the form of physical and mental diseases. The program teaches people how to utilise the available moment as a chance to stretch out, relax, breathe, and be mindful.

Bhavana – A Meditation Programme

A step-by-step approach to guided visualization and meditation practices towards the inward journey.

Anamika – A Pranayama Programme

A step to travel beyond name and form, understand how to work with breath, eliminate impurities from all layers of the human body by experiencing progressive breathing techniques under the guidance of an experienced teacher through various Pranayama techniques incorporating mudras, breath ratios, and Bandhas.

Vruddha – Yoga for Elderly Care

With advancing age, it is essential to focus on “HOW WE PRACTICE” employing safe practices rather than “HOW MUCH WE PRACTICE”. Vruddha helps to address existing health issues, improve balance, stabilize blood pressure, work with painful areas, improve circulation, reduce anxiety, protect joints, improve general wellbeing, and inner journey of the individual.

Samuha – Yoga for social cause

Community outreach programmes – Making the services reach out to underprivileged people who cannot otherwise receive both general yoga and therapeutic sessions.
